What’s more, is that I find it sad that there isn’t more hype around this IR sniper scope, given how it makes shooting so easy and gives you the best quality for its price.
Durability
This extremely durable IR sniper scope is high impact rated, waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof.
I’ve used it in different weather conditions without any worries!
Even after several uses, its body still feels strong and sturdy, thanks to its almost-indestructible aircraft-grade aluminum.
Magnification
The Barska 4-16×50 IR Sniper Scope is extremely versatile with its zoom power of 4-16x.
The 50 mm objective lens, combined with this zoom power, allows for better lighting transmission and a high-contrast sight picture to let you hit your target.
Not to mention, this scope is an excellent scope for 200 yards or MORE! No target from any distance is safe.
Reticle
This IR sniper scope comes with a military standard Mil-Dot reticle illuminated at 30/30.
It is designed with the latest optical technology and is green-coated for better contrast under low-light conditions.
I’ve also been able to easily switch it from a regular black reticle to a bright green one, which allows for shooting targets without any hassle under non-ideal lighting conditions.
The scope is also at the second focal plane.
Even though SFPs are better for closer ranges, I didn’t really see any problem shooting with this particular scope at farther ranges.
Optics
This IR sniper scope from Barska comes with multi-coated lenses that deliver a clear sight picture.
It utilizes the same technology professionals and law enforcement use to give only superior quality and tactical range-finding while shooting.
With a 30 mm tube diameter on this Barska scope, I can assure you you’ll get maximum light gathering to help view your target.
As mentioned earlier, it almost felt like watching a movie from the lens. I saw animals up-close in crystal clear definition.
Precision Adjustment
The Barska 4-16×50 IR Sniper Scope features hand-adjustable target turrets for quick windage and elevation adjustments to ensure that you hit your target.
You can apply any changes to its adjustable objective while shooting.
This is done through the side parallax adjustments that can easily be turned, even when on the field.
These can easily be reset to zero once sighted in if the condition calls for it.
Thanks to these adjustments, my shots have been a lot more precise. It’s a shame that a lot of people ignore the importance of parallax adjustments.
